Day 6
Today our relatives from Toronto finally came. We went out quite late, we had a lot of catching up to do.
First we went to the Grand Central Terminal, which was absolutely gorgeous; you would never believe it´s a metro station. Afterwards we took the subway to Rockefeller Center to see the buildings but especially for “The Top of the Rock”.
Our cousins really wanted to see the Times Square during the evening so we went there when it got dark. It is SO COOL!
The Grand Central Station is a metro station, which opened in 1871.
The Rockefeller Center is located in Midtown Manhattan and consists 21 buildings. The Rockefeller family have built everything.
Top of the rock is an observation deck where locals and New York visitors can enjoy the view over Manhattan.
