Day 7
Finally we went to the spot that my mother always dreamed of going, Statue of Liberty.

The Statue of Liberty is located on the Liberty Island and was a gift from the French people as a memory for the American Revolution that was supported by France.
The statue´s total length is 93 metres including the pedestal. The opening ceremony was 28th of October 1886.

After we came back on land we said goodbye to our relatives who had a long drive back to Toronto. We took the subway to Brooklyn, Williamsburg to visit some markets and just to get to see what Brooklyn had to offer. We found a lot of beautiful jewellery that was made by locals. Afterwards we had our favourite dinner at our favourite spot, a Japanese restaurant with amazing food, and also spicy which suits us Indians very good.
